Turbo Assembly Line
Build faster, build better and share what works.

About
Turbo Assembly Line is a lesson in smart production, wrapped in a race. Every team receives a pile of model parts and the challenge of assembling a range of snap-together concept cars in record time.
Flow is everything. Teams must design efficient assembly lines and cut time from every new build. The twist is that each car has its own style and add-on parts, so the line must stay flexible.
Quality matters as much as speed. Every model, from sedan to SUV, has to meet strict customer standards, and one small mistake can drop a team down the leaderboard.
After each round, the focus moves from team times to sharing best practice across the room, aiming for the best combined production time. The final group result is compared with the best times ever recorded.
Learning outcomes
Turbo Assembly Line lets teams explore, practice and truly understand best practice and process improvement in an engaging way. It fits manufacturing, operations and any team that values efficiency.
It shows how a process improves when everyone follows a consistent method and owns the changes. Small adjustments, like moving one person or swapping two steps, often make a huge difference that shows up instantly on the clock.
Reviewing each round helps teams find bottlenecks, test ideas and measure the effect, building habits of continuous improvement they can bring back to work. Teams that involve everyone in the review usually find the biggest gains.
It is a great platform for discussion inside a fun, practical activity, and the sleek, hands-on car models bring out everyone's playful side.
