Pedicab Sprint
Build it strong, make it stylish and race it to the finish.

About
Pedicab Sprint is a fast, hands-on build-and-race challenge that gets everyone moving from the first minute. Each team builds its own three-wheeled passenger cart against the clock. It works on a lawn, a car park or a large indoor hall.
Working from supplied plans, teams turn a self-assembly kit into a cardboard racer strong enough to carry a passenger at speed.
With the build done, teams decorate their pedicab with color and personality so it is clearly theirs. They also decide who rides and who supplies the pedal power on race day.
The challenge ends with a race that tests speed and control equally. With coworkers cheering from the side and a dash to the finish line, it is an energetic finale that brings the whole group together.
Learning outcomes
Turning a flat pile of materials into a working pedicab takes teamwork, resourcefulness and clear communication from start to finish.
With a clear picture of the goal, teams can form sub-teams that work in parallel, breaking a complex job into manageable parts and keeping everyone productive.
Those sub-teams still need to stay connected, because every part has to fit together in the end. Regular check-ins and clear roles stop small issues from becoming big ones, a lesson that applies to any cross-department project.
Decorating adds a creative element, and the race delivers friendly competition and one big shared moment. Teams leave proud of what they built and with a clearer sense of what they can do when they plan well and work as one.
